Flaskpost (2014)
Flaskpost is about transmission. Transmission of fact, fiction, heritage, legacy, behavior, secrets. Apathy. Responsibility. Flaskpost is also about an antiquated intimacy; working beyond screen-deep beauty or a game of deception, within the appropriation of folklore (the Valkyrie, Witch and the Siren) and historical documentation. The piece amplifies reality and blurs its boundary with fiction starting from a point in time after 'the big event', which could be next week, next year, or yesterday. It begins with a group of women sharing a room and enacting a game of chance.
